In December 2022, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Benedictine University (BenU) in Lisle Illinois with a cumulative 4.0/4.0 GPA! I also served as the secretary, public relation chair, and president of the Student Association of Nutrition and Dietetics Club at BenU. Currently, I serve as the student connection/social media representative to a local dietetic group and DIFM student membership chair. In addition, I hold a Master’s in Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in Archeology.
I have many nutrition and dietetics interests and I am looking forward to the experiential learning that will happen during Sodexo 2023-2024 dietetic internship. I am interested to see how it will shape my future career as an RDN.
My nutrition and dietetics interests include nutrition education, health and wellness, community nutrition, disease prevention especially chronic diseases, sustainability, hunger relief, culinary medicine, microbiome, lifestyle medicine, and integrative and functional medicine. I also enjoy healthy cooking, recipe development, gardening, photography, traveling, reading, walking, yoga, and spending time in nature with my husband and two girls.
